Frank C. Spencer is President and Chief Executive Officer of Cogdell Spencer Inc. Mr. Spencer joined the company in 1996. In 2007-08, under his leadership, Cogdell Spencer acquired Marshall Erdman & Associates, forming Cogdell Spencer ERDMAN, the only new project delivery company in the nation to offer a full array of services in the development of healthcare facilities.

Mr. Spencer began his real estate career with the Crosland Group, where he was Corporate Vice President. From 1993-96, he embraced a new challenge by serving as Executive Director of The Children’s Services Network, a non-profit organization. Upon completing his service to that organization, Mr. Spencer joined The Cogdell Group the company that ultimately grew into Cogdell Spencer Inc.

Mr. Spencer received his bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead Scholar. He received a Masters of Business Administration with high distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was designated as a Baker Scholar.
